🥄 The 333 Protein Ice Dream

A hormonally-aligned, energetically-tuned, creamy AF protein ice cream for the modern kitchen witch.

I don’t know if you’ve seen the Ninja Creami’s all over the internet… but I don’t have TikTok, so I only recentlydiscovered it—and once I did, I was obsessed. I watched a million YouTube videos, spiraled into full Creami Research Mode™️, and had to get my hands on one.

Now here we are.

And honestly? I love it. Not just because it makes ice cream (though, obviously that helps), but because it gives me full creative control in the kitchen. I get to put every single ingredient in with intention—and for me, that alone makes it worth the investment.

I wanted a recipe that felt like a real replacement for ice cream—something creamy, supportive, and energetically sound—not full of weird diet powders or fake sweeteners. I wanted something I could eat regularly without wrecking my digestion, my hormones, or my energetic field.

Turns out… the very first recipe I made was the best.

✨ Why this recipe works:

  • No fake sweeteners (gut says no).
  • No ten thousand powders to rebalance the macros.
  • All-natural ingredients you probably already have.
  • Actually creamy. Actually satisfying. Actually feels like dessert.
  • Made with high-quality, grass-fed whey protein (I use Natural Force) from Jersey cows I fully support.

This recipe is meant to replace your regular ice cream—just with better macros and deeper nourishment. You can even switch out ingredients to shift the energetic balance depending on what your body needs.

🥣 333 Protein Ice Dream Recipe

(for Ninja Creami standard pint)

  • 1.5 cups grass-fed whole milk
  • ÂĽ cup grass-fed heavy cream
  • ÂĽ cup maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 2 scoops Natural Force grass-fed whey protein
  • A splash of vanilla extract
  • A healthy pinch of sea salt

👉 Start by adding 1 cup of milk to a blender (or use an immersion blender). Add all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

Pour into your Ninja Creami pint container and top off to the fill line with additional milk. If there’s foam, don’t worry—it’ll settle when frozen.

🧊 Note: I’m still retesting the exact heavy cream/maple syrup balance, but ÂĽ cup of each makes the math super easy. You can always adjust to your taste and macros.

🧊 Deluxe Creami (for Ninja Creami Deluxe)

  • 3 cups grass-fed whole milk
  • ½ cup grass-fed heavy cream
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 4 scoops Natural Force grass-fed whey protein
  • 2 splashes vanilla
  • 2 generous pinches salt

🥛 Why I Use Whole Milk

You can absolutely use any milk you like—dairy or dairy-free—depending on what your body handles best. Personally, I use grass-fed whole milk because I’ve found it to be deeply nourishing when tolerated well.

There was a time when I cut out all dairy for years. I was dealing with severe cystic and hormonal acne, and I knew certain things—like yogurt—were triggering my system. Even though I loved it, it was not loving me back.

Eventually, as I began to heal, I reintroduced full-fat dairy and noticed a big difference. My skin didn’t react the same way anymore. I believe the fat in milk and yogurt acts as a buffer—especially for the natural growth hormones in dairy. When I left the fat in, my system could handle it better. It felt more stabilizing for my hormones and blood sugar overall.

Plus, real milk is nutrient-dense:

  • Calcium & phosphorus for bones
  • Vitamin A and D (especially when fortified)
  • Potassium, magnesium, and trace minerals
  • Saturated fats for hormone production
  • Protein to support muscle and satiety

I don’t personally count calories, but I do like to know what I’m putting in my body. I think of it as nutritional awareness without micromanagement—staying informed without getting obsessive. This recipe offers a strong balance of healthy fat, clean protein, and slow carbs in a form that actually satisfies.

🍫 Variations + Energetic Tweaks

  • Chocolate Ice Dream: Add 2 tbsp raw cacao powder to the base mix.
  • Need more Yin? Use date syrup instead of maple to support deeper nourishment.
  • Warming Sweeteners: Try honey or jaggery depending on the vibe.

🌿 Witch Tip: Magical Mix-Ins

I’m working on some adaptogenic mix-ins to deepen the support and customization of this ice cream, but in the meantime you can try one of my current favorites:

👉 The Fudge Sauce That Heals You Back (MCT Super Fudge)

Swirl it in after spinning, or drizzle on top with intention.

đź•’ THE BEST TIME TO EAT ICE CREAM?

3:00–5:00 PM.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is the most Yang part of the day—linked to the Bladder Meridian, and a time of heightened digestive strength. Cold foods can be taxing to the system when eaten at the wrong time, but this is your sweet spot.

Bonus points if you eat it outside, post-swim, face tilted toward the sun.

🌞 If you’re worried about damaging your Yin, try:

  • Adding warming spices (like cinnamon or ginger) to the base
  • Sipping a cup of hot ginger tea afterward
  • Or my favorite—chai rooibos with a little honey and almond milk

Because yes, we’re witches. And yes, we still love our creamy, dreamy ice.

P.S. Quick note for the TCM purists: I’m not saying ginger tonifies Yin—in fact, it’s technically warming and Yang-supporting. What I am saying is that it helps support digestion after consuming cold foods, which, if eaten too frequently, can weaken digestion and lead to Yin depletion. It’s more about balance and buffering than treating a specific deficiency. Carry on, herbal nerds. 🫖✨
